BEST ENDING EVER!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhh I'm crying!
I give this book a solid 5/5 stars! I deserves way more!! I devoured this book. I literally couldn't put it down! The only way I could tell it was YA was because the kids were in high school and there was one sex scene, but wow with the emotional level on this one I don't know if I could handle a sex scene. The slow build up of Nastya and Josh's friendship/relationship was perfect. I never liked the name Nastya. Josh definitely didn't, and only called her Sunshine.
Nastya had a tough few years before she started her senior year. Understatement of the century, but she meets Josh who has a "force field" around him. People are scared to go near him because everyone he has ever loved dies, except Drew. Drew us an interesting character. I instantly liked him because of his charms and stupid crude comments to Nastya, which she didn't put up with even if she didn't talk. Yes, you read that right...she was mute!
She chose not to talk to anyone until she spoke to Josh one day. I loved watching their story unfold and I was so anxious to know what happened to her and why she died.
This book review is really hard...it's hard to put such a gem into words to make you understand you should read this NOW! The ending was AHMAZING! I was in tears.

“I wished my mother was here tonight, which is stupid, because it’s an impossible wish.” He shrugs and turns to me, drowning the smile that cracks me every time.
“It’s not stupid to want to see her again.”
